Romans 9

Romans 9:18
So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

If God chooses to have mercy on some people but not others, what then is the point of praying for God to save certain people? What’s the point of trying to raise our children “in the way they should go”? What’s the point of telling people about Jesus? It may seem like there is no point, no hope, if we have no assurance that God will heed our prayers or respond to our efforts, BUT THERE IS! We can’t see into eternity, we don’t know who will respond to the Gospel and who will not, but our calling is still to pray, to teach, to share. YOU are Jesus’ hands and feet in the world today. YOU might be the one who inspires a lost soul to turn to Jesus. Because of YOU, one who was “not beloved” could become a son or daughter of the living God, so keep praying, keep loving, keep sharing!
