Hebrews 5:1
For every high priest chosen among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in relation to God.
Prophets go to the people on behalf of God. However, priests go to God on behalf of the people. And do you know Jesus goes to God on behalf of you? That’s right! He is your high priest. He is your advocate. He is your defense attorney. He stands by your side and maintains your cause. And when the enemy throws the book at you, the verdict always comes back “not guilty.” Because, guess what? This attorney has already served your time. Yes, it’s crazy! But true. He’s got you covered. So, you can trust him with your case. He’s your only hope.
