Verse 8
Is there any man who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go back to his house, lest he make the heart of his fellows melt like his own.
Fear has a way of spreading like no one’s business. A feeble voice here and a couple of murmurs there can send a cold shiver through the camp. That’s why you want to manage your environment well and listen to only the best voices. Voices of hope. Voices of optimism.
And if a fearful voice intrigues you, beware, lest all your forces melt in the moment. Therefore, send that anxious voice back to where it came from. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Onward Christian soldier, God has territory for you to claim.
