Verse 17
You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.
Isn’t God great? He tells us to not fear in the Bible a couple hundred times. It’s actually the most said thing in the Bible. Israel at many times had every right to be scared, to be a little shaken. And sometimes so do we, we don’t know what the future holds and sometimes that’s intimidating.
God calls us to things that sometimes don’t make sense that we likely will fear. But He reassures us every time to not be afraid. So today don’t be afraid!! The Lord will be with you!
