Our youth group is open to any students in 6th - 12th grade. We welcome all kinds!
They meet together with the youth of Clear Creek Church
Wednesday nights 7-8:30pm
 
What's the "116" mean? It refers to Romans 1:16
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes."
Our vision is to raise up a generation who are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ
because they KNOW it is the power of God for salvation!  

Our mission for our youth can be summed up in the following three words: Know - Grow - Go

As a youth group, we want to KNOW, above everything else, that we are deeply loved by Jesus. This is the foundation of our faith. Too many times young people fall in love with Jesus, but when their passion dies, their relationship with Jesus fades. We don’t want this. We believe that the foundation of sustainable faith is the deep understanding of Jesus’ love for us, no matter how much we do or don’t do for him.  There is nothing we can do to earn it, because it is freely given.

This understanding of Jesus’ love for us positions us to GROW in character, understanding of the Word, and especially love for Jesus. As we grow in each of these, we trust that God will grow us into authentic young adults with a firm foundation of faith.

As we come to know who we are in Jesus, grow in strength of character and faith, we want to GO boldly in service to others, loving them like Jesus does. We want to go into our world and be known by our love of others and love for Jesus.
