John the Baptist was a modest man. He would rather fade into the background, but Jesus needed him to step out of the shadows. I know many people at Generations Church who are faithful and are not looking for the limelight at all. However, that does not mean your voice is not to be heard. You have valuable things to say. You have unique contributions to make. And if the Lord were to call upon you, I trust, that like John, you too will consent.
