If you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
As you can see here, right relationship is one of Jesus’s highest priorities. He says don’t even finish what you’re doing. First, go and reconcile with your brother or sister, and then come back and finish what you were doing. In other words, don’t let grass grow under your feet. Take care of the problem ASAP. This is a kingdom priority.
I recently heard someone say that the kingdom of God is a kingdom of right relationships. Amen. Can there be anything more beautiful? Like we heard on Sunday, are you willing to be willing? And are you willing to step out? We love because He first loved us.
