Verse 15
How can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.
And in verse 16, God doesn’t even argue with Gideon. He says, “Yeah, but I will be with you!”
Isn’t that just like God? He votes for the least likely to do some of the greatest things.
If you don’t feel like you measure up, you might just be in the perfect place for God to use you. He says, I will be with you, and will make up the deficit, and so much more. When he calls you to do something difficult, the less you have means the more he will provide.
Don’t fret, but trust him today! His strength is made perfect in weakness.
