Verse 20
The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, and Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eleadah his son, Tahath his son.
Sometimes keeping track of people in the Bible can be difficult, especially when they have the same name. Consider the name Mary. There is Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary the sister of Lazarus, and Mary Magdalene to name a few. Joash was a name given to different kings of both Israel and Judah. Sometimes we even see different names for the same king.
We might get people mixed up, but God doesn’t.
Psalm 147:4 tells us He counts the stars and gives them each a name - probably different names. How many is that? Some say one billion trillion. So He has no problem with exponentially fewer people’s names. He doesn’t mix us up.
He knows not only your name but your history, your hurts, your failures, your successes, your heart, your goals, your future. He created you to be unique! He knows and loves YOU!
