Daily Devotional from Acts 4—
Verses 29-31
“And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
Do you desire to be bolder in sharing your faith? Ask God, pray and ask for boldness. Do you want to see miracles? Keep asking Jesus, John 3:34 says that God gives his Holy Spirit without measure. That’s who God is, He is in the miracle-working business. So let’s ask Him to do miracles at our church, in our families, in our neighborhood, and around the world...If we ask, we will receive. That’s all the disciples did here - they prayed and asked God, and He answered. So be encouraged if you are going through a dry season, because now is a good time for a breakthrough.
