Romans 16
Daily Devotional from Romans 16—
Verses 19-20
For your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, but I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
Being wise to what is good and innocent to what is evil means we ought to know the way to act and be able to instruct others. Imagine knowing what is right but not doing it - who would listen to you? Walking the walk strengthens our witness to unbelievers. So let us continue to walk in faithfulness and obedience because Jesus is coming back to destroy all the works of the devil.
It’s going to be quite the day when Jesus returns and I believe we all yearn for it, but I want to see as many as possible saved and I hope you do too! So let’s partner with the Holy Spirit as He moves in our workplaces, our homes, and on the streets, let’s both hear and obey the voice of the Lord, and see Gresham begin to transform. It’s high time for a revival!
