1 Kings 10-11
Daily Devotional from 1 Kings 10--
Verses 23-24
Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom. And the whole earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.
What a blessed man Solomon was, he had all you could ask for and yet he blew it!! There is a key detail I think Solomon forgot which led to his downfall. Solomon forgot that God put the wisdom in his mind, God gave him the riches. Praise God if he gives you much, but never forget the fact that He gave it to you.
Solomon let it get to his head he was practically being praised and he just accepted it and he lived a carnal life. We are called to walk in the Spirit and glorify Jesus. We can only do this because God’s Holy Spirit was given to us. Walk boldly empowered by the Holy Spirit today. God lives in you!!
