Daily Devotional from 2 Timothy 2—
Verses 24-25
And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth.
We’ve got to really lean into what the Holy Spirit is doing. Demetrius mentioned that in both sermons over the last two weeks. In order for us to be kind, to know how to teach, especially to endure evil and to be gentle with our opponents, we need the Holy Spirit’s help. And there’s a reason God wants us gentle and patient. It’s so that even our opponents will be saved.
People might come to know Jesus because you trusted in what God was doing and God is on the move, guys! Let’s lean in, in this season let’s allow God to do miracles and wonders and to bring the lost to the Church. The Spirit of the living God is in you! Let’s allow Him to work! It says God may perhaps grant them repentance so it’s His work but He loves to use us to lead people to Himself.
