If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.
This is a stunning statement.
Through this parable, Jesus basically says—
You can have money, but money won’t save you.
You can have miracles, but miracles won’t save you.
You can even have the Scriptures, but Scriptures won’t save you, unless you HEAR them.
Faith comes by hearing. Faith doesn’t come by miracles. Faith Comes by hearing the Word of God. It’s not enough to know the Bible. You gotta hear and respond to what it says.
