And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
Many people have the notion that religion is a private affair, and that salvation is a personal thing. That may be true on a foundational level. But at some point, God is calling you into a community. Prayerfully read through Acts 2:42-47 a few times today and ask the Holy Spirit to give you a vision for the ways you can contribute towards the life of your community. It might come at an enormous cost to your privacy, but the gains will far outweigh the losses.
