Verse 21
Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.
There are so many things we pursue in life. Education, a career, a spouse, relationships, a home, a skill or hobby…all good things. But more than these external, temporary things, God encourages us to pursue aspects of character – righteousness and kindness. If we make character development our goal, then we will have a solid foundation from which to receive, appreciate, and steward these other gifts should He bless us with them. What are you focused on seeking today? Include some time to consider how you might seek to grow in character aspects such as righteousness and kindness.
