Proverbs 23
Daily Devotional from Proverbs 23—
Verse 15
My son, if your heart is wise, my heart too will be glad.
As parents, we get the responsibility and the privilege of raising our kids to know and love the Lord. We get to read the Bible to them and teach them what it means to have character and integrity, and to love and serve others. But at some point, they reach an age where they will start making their own life choices. And we can only pray that somewhere along the way, they learned some wisdom to utilize in making those decisions.
I think it’s the same with our heavenly Father. He’s given us all we need to know, and encouraged us to seek Wisdom so that we can make choices in our lives that will bless and honor Him.
In each choice you make today and going forward, seek to make the heart of your Father God glad!
